I've got so many sewing books already that I was going to resist buying this one. Just as well I didn't as I've found it full of really handy, easy to understand tips. I can see this becoming a consistently useful guide unlike so many of my other books.

And looking forward to the border print pattern this summer!

I'm dying to get this book. An awesome fabric shop just opened near my house in Austin. Fabricker carries fabric with garment sewing in mind. What's not do love?!

Didn't know this book was out there. From the cover it looks delicious! Must definitely check it out.

"If I became fabulously wealthy overnight, for instance, I would probably sew MORE, not less." I never thought about it before, but it is so true!

"My favorite thing about Sarai's book is her emphasis on sewing as an experience, rather than just as a slower method of acquiring new clothes."

Oh yes! I think this is why sewing is equally satisfying if you're sewing for yourself or others :-)

Loved reading your Q&A. I agree with your statement that if Id get rich I sew more. Just imagine all that extra time !!!!. You've convinced me. Seems another book will make its way to me. Why I even try resisting them. I always end up buying more books.
