I didn't realize Pendleton had a website until last week — I was doing a little belated Santa-ing and there it was. And it's a nice site, too.
I know you're probably sick of holiday dresses at this point, and are planning to spend the next 30 days in workout clothes, but — hey, fully-lined silk taffeta (in sizes 4-18!) for $113.99? That's hard to beat. With the unusual square neck and cap sleeves, it's not another super-bare LBD, that's for sure — but still nicely festive. And think how smug you'll feel next Thanksgiving knowing you have a lovely holiday dress already in your closet?
And — thanks to you all, we hit the $1200 fundraising target! (Not by Dec 25, but hey, folks were busy.) New "secret lives" story imminent — and I'll keep the "writing prompts" poll open until I actually start writing.
Still time to vote — the story will include the top-two vote-getters below:

That is a lovely dress. I don’t think the square neckline would suit me but I do love the cap sleeves and everything about the dress.
Love that dress, so gorgeous! and Congratulations to your fundraising target!
At least the length is right….not mid-thigh like a lot of party dresses!
I just discovered you blog & loved it. I’m an interior designer from Melbourne, Australia & I found it very inspiring. Blogging is all new to me but I have just set up my own blog
scrapbook-melissah.blogspot.com
You may like to check it out because I had so much fun doing it. It’s got a bit of everything fashion, interiors, food, travel spots – hopefully you will find something in there that you like.
Thanks for providing me with such great entertainment!
Cheers
Melissah
I live in the frozen north–my holiday dresses have long sleeves, mid-calf hems, and frequently, turtlenecks. I’m not sure for what event I would wear this.
