Coral-colored (but not a reef)

ebay item 270061657249

This is so cute ... Robin sent it to me. It's most likely handmade (no tags, and I think I've seen this pattern before), B39/W33, in great shape, and on eBay hovering at a bid of about $16 right now -- what a deal! Click on the image to visit the auction.

I love the buttons, the diagonal line, the little notch at the neckline where the bodice overlaps: all adorable, but not too sweet. The wild pattern is another plus. You'd definitely need a choker of coral beads with this one, too, but only the truly dedicated (or nuts) would try to match the shoes and bag ...

Thanks, Robin!

Actually, I think accessories in chartreuse would be fun.

I think I might have this pattern. I like it because it's not really a wrap dress--it has a side zipper. So you get that charming surplice bodice, but no worries about the Kansas wind doing unkind things to your wrapped skirt.

Those fabric covered buttons are the best part about this dress.

I haven't seen the findings for something like that. (but now, I will start looking!)

I agree with heather near Boston: chartruse or even tuquoise or a dark teal would look great with this dress.

I, um, have those shoes. And a burgundy bag lined in coral. I think that outfit would need shoe clips. Chocolate brown bows, maybe.

I love this bodice! Sadly it's the wrong size and shipping from the US is prohibitive...

You say you think you've seen the pattern somewhere - does anyone know what it is or something similar?

This might be the perfect one for someone who is on the thin side... the color and design is perfect fix for everything!
