It looks like a wrap dress, is that why the pockets are off?she's cramming her hand down in it pretty hard too. But then I suppose the chest pockets would be off too......

I love that big houndstooth-y print. There was a 3/4-sleeve Isaac Mizrahi cardigan at Target this winter in a similar pattern that I loved.Your future skirt (should the fates allow) sounds fabulous. It'd be cute w/red or turquoise shoes & bag, too.

I am the same way about spring. Winter is December and January. It's mid-February, time to warm up! I will never get used to the extension of cold weather into May.

Oh, wow, I'm going to be surprised if Erin doesn't buy that little cardigan! It's even on sale!I will totally keep my eyes open for that fabric in NYC. How much do you need for a circle skirt? And as for shivering in cotton prints, I'll be right there with you; I've got so many cute patterns I want to sew up, and of course I think they would ALL be best in cotton prints.

It's no hippie dress, but I want you to know that today I am wearing a skirt I just got from Boden that has Fist-Sized Polka Dots! I promise always to think of it as my Dress-A-Day skirt.

Erin

BB-- I *want* those polka dots! And I think I'll be hitting Target later for that sweater. I hate to order online from Target when there's one every ten blocks here ... I need four yards for a circle skirt if it's 45". I can make do with three if it's 60". Thanks! And a turquoise shirt and bag! Yes!

Rose

Oh! I love that Boden skirt in the "dark stone carnival" print! So lovely. But 59UK is a bit dear.

IA

Yes, I hate Boden's prices, but I'm trying to train myself to buy a few excellent things instead of lots of cheap junk. Or so I keep saying, to console myself over the loss of Target.Fortunately, as I've mentioned here before, Boden's clothing rarely fits me anyway. So I order, admire the prints, and send them right back. Eventually Boden may catch on and adjust their sizing to less Britishly shaped persons, at which point I'll have to unsubscribe from the catalogue for my own safety. But the skirt fits and is wicked cute.
